Madis Coffee's Honduras Finca El Coyote Single Origin Coffee Beans
Our newest Honduras Single Origin offering comes from the elevated landscapes of La Paz. These beans are a reflection of Selvin Lopez’s dedication to quality and the growing potential of natural-processed coffees from Honduras.
From Farm to Cup:
Grown on Selvin Lopez’s 7-hectare farm, Finca El Coyote, in the Guajiquiro region of La Paz, these beans thrive at 1,700 meters above sea level. With over 44,000 coffee trees on his land, Selvin carefully harvests and dries his coffees on patios, producing roughly 11,000 kg annually. As part of the Café Imports Farm Select program, this lot represents traceable, producer-focused sourcing and intentional quality.
Flavor Notes:
Enjoy the layered complexity of this medium roast. Mellow toffee and cocoa offer a comforting base, while cooked cranberry and a winey acidity add brightness and depth. A final touch of sugary sweetness leaves a smooth and satisfying finish. Naturally processed to highlight the rich, fruit-forward character of the Catuai and IHCAFE 90 varieties.
Ideal for Home Brewing:
Whether you’re brewing a pour-over, pulling espresso, or crafting a French press, this versatile coffee delivers. Its balanced profile makes it easy to enjoy across methods, while still offering enough nuance for the discerning home barista.
Sustainable and Ethical:
Supporting Finca El Coyote means investing in Honduran farmers like Selvin who are pushing boundaries with processing innovation and sustainable practices. Every cup helps drive meaningful impact at the farm level.
Experience the vibrant taste of La Paz with Madis Coffee’s Honduras Finca El Coyote Single Origin—where each sip tells the story of the farmer behind it.
